Myofascial Dry Needling is generally considered to be a safe and simple form of treatment for a vast array of musculoskeletal conditions and can be effectively employed within the parameters of a normal Soft Tissue Therapy session with little effect on patient / practitioner and therapeutic outcome.
The soft tissue therapist whom has had extensive training in anatomy and surface anatomy will be able to apply the principles of myofascial dry needling with a certain degree of safety. It is imperative that the practitioner at all time works within their knowledge framework and constantly revises such framework to ensure their clients safety.
During the myofascial dry needling courses you will not be taught anatomy however your anatomical knowledge with regards to needling will be challenged.

Massage therapists with the following qualifications can complete Myofascial Dry Needling Courses
 
HLT50302/HLT50307 & WA0350 or equivalent diplomas
 
It is preferred if the therapist has some post qualification experience of 1 year since graduating.
